In view of the change of Status of the College of Agriculture to College of Agriculture, Science and Technology, the need for additional Departments and Programmes becomes imperative.

Consequently, the Governing Council of the College of Agriculture, Science and Technology Lafia, Nasarawa State hereby invites interested and suitable qualified candidates to apply for the following existing positions in College of Agriculture, Science and Technology Lafia, Nasarawa State.
The College Librarian is the academic head of the College Library and is responsible to the Provost for the day to day administration of the College Library and Co- ordination of the College Library and information Services and the Teaching Units of the College.
Candidates for the position of the College Librarian must possess the following:
(12) years of cognate working experience in Library and Information Science from a recognized Institution;
research and publication in reputable journals;
Successful candidate shall hold office for a single term of five (5) years and no more effective from the date of appointment. The salary attached to this position is CONPCASS 9/9. In addition, the appointee shall enjoy any other benefits attached to the position of a Principal Officer of the College as stipulated in the College’s Conditions of service.
Candidates for the position of the Senior Lecturer must be a Master’s holder in relevant fields of specialization with minimum of three (3) years teaching experience (College of Technology teaching experience or an institution of comparable or higher standing) as Lecturer I. Candidates must have sufficient number of admissible scholarly publications in reputable journals. Candidate must be a registered member of his/her professional body. Have a strong evidence of potential for continual research activity and academic leadership/Administrative Responsibility. Show evidence of Community Service and must be Computer literate.
A good honours degree not below second class lower division in relevant fields of specialization, who has been a Lecturer II with three years teaching experience (College of Technology teaching experience or an institution of comparable or higher standing). Candidates must have sufficient number of admissible scholarly publications in reputable journals and demonstrable ability to initiate and develop research. Be a registered member of relevant professional body and be Computer literate.
A good honours degree not below second class lower division in relevant fields of specialization who has been a Lecturer III with three years teaching experience (College of Technology teaching experience or an institution of comparable or higher standing). Candidate must have sufficient number of admissible scholarly publications in reputable journals and demonstrable ability to initiate and develop research. Be a registered member of relevant professional body and be Computer literate.
A good honours degree not below second class lower division in relevant fields of specialization, with three years teaching experience (College of Technology teaching experience or an institution of comparable or higher standing) as an Assistant Lecturer or a Master’s degree in the relevant field plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate or Letter of Exclusion. Candidates must have sufficient number of admissible scholarly publications in reputable journals and be Computer literate.
Candidates for this position should possess a good Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of Second Class Lower Division) in relevant discipline plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate or Letter of Exclusion. Candidates must be Computer literate.
Candidates should possess a Higher National Diploma minimum of credit level or equivalent qualification from recognized institution plus NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate or Letter of Exclusion. Candidates must be Computer literate;
Candidates for the position of Senior Assistant Registrar must have a good honours Degree (minimum of Second Class Lower Division) in the Arts, Social Science or Humanities plus at least nine years’ post qualification cognate experience or Masters’ Degree in the relevant discipline plus at least six years’ post qualification cognate experience, or a relevant Doctorate Degree with at least three years’ post qualification cognate experience. Have NYSC Discharge Certificate or Evidence of Exemption. Candidate must be Computer literate and a registered member of a relevant professional body.
Candidate must possess a good Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Survey from a recognized University or a pass in the examination of the Royal Institute Chartered Surveyors or a pass in the final examination of the Nigeria Institute of Surveyors. Candidates must be Computer literate and a registered member of the relevant professional body.
Candidates must possess a good Bachelor of Science Degree in Architecture (minimum of Second Class Lower Division), M.Sc in Architecture from a recognized University, plus NYSC Discharge certificate or Exemption Certificate or Letter of Exclusion. A pass in the Final I examination of the Royal Institute British Architecture (RIBA) or a pass in the final I examination of the Nigeria Institute of Architecture (NIA). Candidates must be registered with the Architectural Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON). Candidates must be Computer literate.
Candidates must possess a good Honours Degree (minimum of Second Class Lower Division) in relevant discipline plus NYSC Certificate.
Candidates should possess a Higher National Diploma in the relevant field with at least credit level or equivalent qualification from recognized institution. NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate or Letter of Exclusion and TTC if applicable and must be Computer literate.
Candidates should possess any of the following fitness qualifications: A good Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of Second Class Lower Division) in Physical and Health Education or Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) in Physical and Health Education plus three (3) years cognate experience or National Institute for Sports Grade II Coaching Certificate with at least three years coaching experience. Candidate must be Computer literate.
