Job Title 1: Data Analyst (Python & SQL)

Locations: Abuja and Lagos

The Role

We are looking for a Data Analyst seeking to work in our team to shape business and data strategy.
You are highly analytical and excited about applying a quantitative framework to business problems through performing analysis, data mining, predictive modeling, business forecasting, applied statistics, and more.
You are comfortable with presenting your approach to Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing, Sales, Finance and working with them to execute a data-driven business process.

Responsibilities – What You’II Do

Build dashboards, keep track of core metrics and attribute metrics changes to root causes
Implement large-scale data ecosystems including data management, governance and the integration of structured and unstructured data to generate insights leveraging cloud-based platforms
Obtain a thorough understanding of our data sources and collection methods. Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot data source issues.
Analyze data to derive insights and develop data visualizations to facilitate decision making
Design and analyze experiments to verify product hypothesis and direction
Work with engineers and product stakeholders to deliver product insights and strategy.
Support development and launch of tooling projects
Take projects from RFP/SOW/BRD to delivery: project management, requirements gathering, data architecture, workflow management, quality assurance, reporting and visualization, presentation

Qualifications – What we are looking out for

BA / B.Sc in Statistics, Econometrics, Business Analytics or a related scientific major.
Familiarity with the Google Cloud Platform (eg. DataStudio, Colab, Compute Engine etc) and related platforms.
Expertise with SQL and Python
Strong analytical and causal reasoning mindset, and rigidity on statistical correctness
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Passion about payment products and curiosity to deep dive.

Job Title 2: Content Writer

Locations: Lagos, Abuja (FCT)
Job type: Full-time

The Role

We are looking for an amazing Content writer/developer to join our team. As the content writer at BuyPower, you will be in charge of specific content-heavy channels.
This includes the company’s blog, email marketing, marketing automation and mobile app notifications. You will also provide a copy as needed (for ads, landing pages etc.) and collaborate with the social media and community manager for social media copy.

Responsibilities – What You’II Do

Collaborate with team members and brainstorm subjects for creative content
Come up with content goals and strategies to increase awareness of our products, drive relevant traffic back to our site and increase conversion velocity through our digital/content funnel
Create unique, simple-to-understand and user-friendly contents using good SEO techniques
Write new web content and edit existing content
Edit and proofread new content before publication
Manage the distribution of content through our various channels, including social media
Analyze performance indicators and web traffic and determine the effectiveness of created content

Qualifications – What we are looking out for

Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, English, journalism, or related field.
Proven content writing or copywriting experience.
Excellent understanding of digital marketing strategies including SEO, email marketing, and web analytics.
Working knowledge of content management systems.
In-depth knowledge of keyword research, SEO copywriting and the behaviors of search engines.
A portfolio of published articles.
Excellent writing and editing skills.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Job Title 3: UI / UX Designer

Locations: Abuja and Lagos
Job Type: Full-Time

The Role

We are looking for a Creative UI/UX Designer to join our team. As an UI/UX Designer at BuyPower, you will be responsible for delivering the best online user experience.
You will be designing graphic user interface, gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements and performing other related tasks.

Responsibilities – What You’II Do

Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
Build page navigation buttons and search fields
Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and image

Qualifications – What we are looking out for

B.Sc. in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
Portfolio of design projects
Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Figma, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
Good time-management skills

Set, plan and implement social media and communication campaigns and strategies
Provide engaging text, image and video content for all social media and professional accounts
Monitor, track and report on feedback and online reviews
Organize and manage events to boost brand awareness
Engage with the online community and respond to comments and requests.
Analyze web traffic and relevant community metrics.
Employ a growth mindset to maximize systematic success
Hypothesize, test, measure, optimize, and scale our marketing content
Support the wider marketing team with content used in demand generation campaigns.

Qualifications
What we are looking out for:

2-4 years experience with demonstrated results
Excellent knowledge of digital ads/content creation and distribution and naturally stay informed of the latest developments
Experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube is essential.
Knowledge of Hootsuite or similar programs to manage online postings on different platforms.
Hands on experience with social media management for brands

We are looking for a creative and passionate digital marketer/growth hacker to join our team. As BuyPower’s digital marketer, you will acquire and retain users via paid and organic channels. Some of these channels will include Google Ads (search, display e.t.c), Facebook/Instagram Ads, Twitter Ads, Influencer marketing and partnerships, mobile app campaigns etc.

Responsibilities – What You’II Do

Define, execute, analyze, scale and optimize demand generation and pipeline acceleration strategy across all channels – online, offline, owned and events
Establish and manage lead funnel and lead lifecycle to enable reliable campaign tracking, reporting, and lead hand-off.
Work with members of the growth team to drive initiatives that maximize customer acquisition

We are looking for a Creative Art Director to join our team. As an Art Director at BuyPower, you will be responsible for the overall visual aspects of our advertising or media campaigns and will collaborate with other designers, if available on designated projects.

Responsibilities
What You’II Do:

Determine and develop the visual style of advertising campaigns, publications, and other visual elements of our products
Ensure desired messages and images are conveyed to consumers
Create detailed timelines and budgets for design projects
Select photography, artwork, designs, and other visual elements for layout
Coordinate multiple projects simultaneously to produce quality contents and meet team’s deadlines
Present creative concepts and finished projects to Head of Growth and/or Social media and community manager for reviews
