Position Overview
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operational Excellence Office Executive to lead our organization’s initiatives towards operational efficiency and excellence.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, strategic thinking, and excellent leadership skills to drive continuous improvement efforts across the organization.
- This role will be pivotal in streamlining processes, optimizing resources, and enhancing overall operational performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness across all departments.
- Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to streamline workflows, eliminate waste, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Performance Measurement: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor and evaluate operational performance. Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Change Management: Lead change management efforts to ensure the successful implementation of operational improvement initiatives. Effectively communicate changes and provide support to stakeholders throughout the process.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate with departmental leaders and stakeholders to identify opportunities for collaboration and alignment towards common operational goals.
- Training and Development: Develop training programs and materials to build capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality management systems and processes to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Drive a culture of quality and excellence throughout the organization.
- Project Management: Lead and oversee operational improvement projects from inception to completion. Develop project plans, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery and desired outcomes.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize operational disruptions and ensure business continuity.
Main Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or related field.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Project management experience, with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.
- Change management experience, with the ability to effectively manage organizational change and overcome resistance.
- Six Sigma, Lean, or other relevant certifications preferred.
- Experience in the [specific industry or sector of the hiring company] is a plus.
Salary Range
N200,000 per month.
