This program is part of the Economic Sustainability Plan, which aims to support and protect these businesses from the potential vulnerabilities brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The MSMEs Survival Fund of N60 billion ($156.446 million) and the Guaranteed Offtake Schemes of N15b billion ($39.111) are the result of President Buhari’s administration. to encourage Nigerians in the wake of the cholera epidemic.

Survival Fund Fresh Application – The initiative will benefit more than 500,000 Nigerians, and the government has already successfully paid salaries to more than 1,000,000,000 companies in the country, of which approximately are companies. A total of 2,283,032 employees support 2,000,000,000 handicrafts in 24 states.

Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Maryam Katagam, advised the applicants of micro and small enterprises, MSMEs, not to pay anyone to influence the payments from the government.
She further said that MSMEs, Survival Funds and Guaranteed Confidence Schemes, covering five different avenues, have grants sanctioned under the Financial Sustainability Planning Scheme to support and manage the livelihoods of insecure MSMEs and self-employed persons, mainly affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.
The distribution of beneficiaries across the country is: Number of benefiting MSMES, 27,085. Number of individual Beneficiaries, N30,000:00 each paid to 146,266.
