Native Americans in Entertainment COVID-19 Relief Fund Application

The Native Americans in Entertainment COVID-19 Relief Fund will grant eligible Native American writers, directors, actors and all above the line and below the line workers in the entertainment industry who have experienced loss of employment due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.

Native Americans in Entertainment COVID-19 Relief Fund Application

Grants of $2,000 will be awarded on a first-come-first-served basis until the program funds have been depleted. The objective of this program is to provide economic relief for American Indians, Alaskan Natives and Native Hawaiians impacted by COVID-19 and to provide support for additional unanticipated expenses resulting from the pandemic.

Native Americans in Entertainment COVID-19 Relief Fund Requirements

• Completed Application Form (see form below)
• Applicant must be a US resident. A state or government issued ID or passport will be required.
• Applicant must be 18 or over. Proof of Date of Birth is required with a state or government ID or passport.
• Applicant must provide official government documentation that shows proof of American Indian, Alaskan Native or Native Hawaiian heritage in the form of Certificate of Indian Blood, Tribal ID card, Birth Certificate, or other official Tribal Documents.
• Applicant is a writer, director, actor, producer and/or other position defined as above the line in the TV & Film Industry
• Applicant is in a position defined as below the line in the TV & Film Industry
• Applicant must provide a description of work history and loss of employment.
  • • Applicant must provide proof of having worked in the TV or film industry 2 of the last 5 years. This can include:
      1. employment documentation
      2. contracts
      3. pay stubs
      4. 1099s
      5. or other written proof of employment
  • Applicant must provide documents that establish financial need in the form of the following items:
    1. Rent or Mortgage Payments
    2. Groceries
    3. Utility Bills
    4. Automobile Payment
    5. Medical Bills
    6. Childcare Expenses
    7. Expenses related to residence change due to COVID-19
