Indorama Eleme Fertilizer & Chemicals Limited (IEFCL) is a group company of Indorama Corporation, a global manufacturing conglomerate operating in over 25 countries across Asia, Europe, Africa and North & South America.

IEFCL is one amongst the ambitious greenfield projects of Indorama in Nigeria and is the world’s largest single-train Urea – Fertilizer plant, commissioned in June 2016.

Title: Graduate Engineer Internship Program
Job Code: 05
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Duration of Internship: 12 months

Details, Professional Qualification & Skills

• Eligibility: First Degree / HND Engineers from recognized Universities and Federal Polytechnics.
• Disciplines: Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics / Petroleum & Petrochemical.
• Year of Passing: 2018, 2019 & 2020 shall be preferred
• All the eligible candidates will be subjected to two stage selection process – Written Test (Technical & Aptitude) and Personal Interview.
• Candidates who pass through both stages will be eligible for internship.
• Absorption into the regular rolls of the company will be based on the successful completion of the internship program and availability of vacancy in the organization.
• All successful candidates shall be eligible for certificate upon completion of internship program.

Remuneration

• Interns would be a paid consolidated monthly stipend during the period of internship.
• The interns are eligible to use the company’s transport and can avail canteen facility as per company policy.

Title: Lab Analyst Internship Program

Details, Professional Qualification & Skills

• Eligibility: National Diploma / Equivalent from Federal Polytechnics and Technical Education Institutes
• Discipline: Laboratory Science/Industrial Chemistry! Chemistry
• Year of Passing -2018, 2019 & 2020 shall be preferred
• All the eligible candidates will be subjected to two stage selection process – Written Test (Technical & Aptitude) and Personal Interview.
• Candidates who pass through both stages will be eligible for training.
• Absorption into the regular rolls of the company will be based on the successful completion of the internship program and availability of vacancy in the organization.
• All successful candidates shall be eligible for certificate upon completion of internship program.

Job Title: Accounts Officer

Requirements

• Professional Qualification & Skills: Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Accounts / related fields. Candidates with Professional certificates in ACCA or ICAN, excellent knowledge in MS Office, Team work with ability of multi-tasking, good commercial communication skills shall have an added advantage.
• Experience & expertise: 8 – 10 years with knowledge and experience of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP etc), accounting, budgeting, cost control activities, material and service invoice processing, vendor master creation, vendor accounts reconciliations, bank reconciliations, month end closing, review of creditors / advances, expense provisions etc.  candidate should have knowledge of Nigerian Tax Laws – CITA, VAT, WHT etc
• Candidates with experience in manufacturing sector and having experience of managing sales accounts shall be given preference.

Job Title: Electrical Technician

• National Diploma with minimum of 6-year experience in Fertilizer/ Petrochemical plant.

Experience & Expertise:

• Knowledge of Mechanical basics is must; Team work with ability of multi-tasking; Open minded, Organizing, problem solving; Communication, Listening and feedback; Punctuality, discipline, work attitude and initiatives.
• Candidates with good knowledge of all Electrical terms Transformers, Switch gears, HT & LT motors, UPS and battery chargers, Lightnings, grounding and Lightning protection, Cranes and hoists, any special equipment of his/her area like bagging machines, Reclaimers, VFDs etc will be an added advantage.

Job Title: Mechanical Technician

• National Diploma with minimum of 6-year experience in Fertilizer/Petrochemical plant.

Experience & expertise:

• Candidates with good knowledge of all Rotating and static equipment including piping involved in a continuous process plant (Fertilizers I Petrochemicals / Chemical I Power plant) will be an added advantage

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with minimum of 5 years’ experience or National Diploma with 10 years in Fertilizer / Petrochemical / continuous process Chemical / Power plant.

• Knowledge of Mechanical basics; Team work with ability of multi-tasking; Open minded, Organizing, problem solving; Communication, Listening and feedback; Punctuality, discipline, work attitude and initiatives.
