Gareth Bale looked a little off the pace in his 30 minutes play on the pitch against Eibar
Gareth Bale made his 250th appearance for the club on Sunday in the first LaLiga game back for Zinedine Zidane’s side since the season was suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.
He came off the bench, replacing Eden Hazard an hour into the match at Alfredo di Stefano stadium.
Gareth Bale was not at a good form; he had a pass completion percentage of just 63, losing the ball five times.
The Welsh winger could be back again to face Valencia for Real on Thursday night
Medical staffs are optimistic that Bale is simply building up full match fitness again and are cautious of pushing him too hard.
When the Real Madrid squad returned to training, Bale missed a number of sessions due to physical overload and his progress was slower than some team-mates.
He may be given another chance to build on his fitness levels in Real’s next LaLiga clash against Valencia on Thursday night.
