The Federal government of Nigeria has highlighted the possibility on lifting the ban on interstate movement completely from Friday 12th June, 2020.
This was however disclosed by the National Coordinator of the presidential taskforce (PFT), Mr Sani Aliyu, on covid 19 during the committee breifing in Abuja.
The Federal government had earlier placed a ban on interstate movement on the bid to contain the spread of covid 19 pandemic in the country.
There has been so many reports on the violation of the interstate lock all over the country, with security agencies tasked with the responsibility of the orders encouraging violations.
However, Mr Sani Aliyu, since local flights has been given the permission to operate, it would not be an ideal that the movements from road to states be restricted.
Hence, the general public should expects the ban to be lifted in no distant time.
