It has been reported that the Lagos state government has begun the registration of religious and social centers in the state following the ease of the lockdown.
On Thursday, June 4, the Director-General of the State Safety Commission and Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA), Lanre Mojola, said that the registration of the centers is in readiness for their full reopening.
In the statement by Lanre Mojola, this operation is in furtherance of the Register-to-Open initiative of the state government and officials of the commission would be visiting offices and business premises to assess the level of their readiness to resume operation.
“Further to the directive of Mr. Governor with respect to the Register-to-Open initiative of Lagos State government, we hereby confirm that all religious and social centers (social clubs, event centers, restaurants, bars, night clubs, spas, cinemas, and gyms) within the state can commence the registration process on the designated portal www.lasgsafetyreg.com immediately.”
