David Umahi, Ebonyi State Governor has close all Government Offices in the state due to the new discovery.
The Governor disclosed that the offices will be shut from June 4 to June 10, 2020.
This directive was made to check the spread of coronavirus among government officials.
The order was contained in a statement by Uchenna Orji, Commissioner for Information.
Umahi has shown concern over the infection rate among state Executive Council (EXCO) members.
He said that though the affected government officials were in stable condition, the shutdown was to ensure effective contact tracing.
All civil servants are to work from their specific homes but must leave their phones open to respond to official emergency.

It was also reported that all exco members and government officials, especially those of the Ministries of Finance and that of budget, should go for COVID-19 tests within this seven-day period.
The Governor pleaded with members of the community to take the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) protocols seriously.
He mention some of the protocols, which includes hand-washing, use of sanitizers and face masks, observation of social distancing, among others.
