justIn the past months, the Federal Government have the dismissal of of primary, secondary and tertiary institutions in the bid to avoid the spread of covid 19.
Sadly to inform you that, the case of the Covid 19 are still increasing on a daily basis and the the Federal government is working hard to contain the spread of the deadly virus and that is while the school have remained closed.
It is of no doubt that the secondary school students and the primary school pupils who where to sit for their second term examinations before the schools where declared closed could not do so, as a result the exams where suspended till further notice.
The students whom are meant to be in their Third term session by now are yet to complete their Second term and let alone resume their Third term.
However, Parents of children in the primary and secondary school should understand that the delay of school resumption is due to the rising spread of covid 19 in Nigeria and also for their children’s safety and not that the the government are not doing anything concerning the delay of the Resumption of schools but are working tirelessly to put a stop to the virus
Children in Primary and Secondary schools Should take note of the following:
1. The Federal government has not fixed a date yet for the resumption of schools; whether public or private.
2. The Minister for Education, Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba in a statement earlier on declared that, all students in Nigeria are been granted access to e-learning portals; such as schoolgate.ng and mobile classroom.ng.
3.Students should continue reading their books while at home to prepare for the forth coming exams.
Seeing that most schools have not written their second term exams, do you think that their students should take it after writing or should skip it and be promoted?
