A new video has been shared online showing three Minneapolis Police Department officers kneeling on George Floyd during his arrest on Monday, leading to his untimely death.
Previously a video was posted by an eyewitness( Darnella Frazier) showing Floyd, 46, being knelt on by an officer, (Derek Chauvin), now arrested and charged with George Floyd’s murder.
In this new video, which was captured from the other side of the Minneapolis police vehicle where the arrest occurred, Chauvin and two other white officers were filmed kneeling on Floyd.
Chauvin was charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter, according to Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman after he has been taken into custody on Friday afternoon, according to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
The third-degree murder charge simply means that he killed by mistake, so his sentence might by light.
The three other officers were fired Floyd’s death and they are yet to be arrested or charged.
