Mohammed Adamu, The Inspector-General of Police, has ordered the closure of the National Secretariat of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
It was reported that the Inspector General of Police directed the FCT Commissioner of Police, to close up the APC secretariat over the leadership crisis that is happening in the ruling party.
The IGP also directed the APC Chief Security Officer to instruct members of the National Working Committee (NWC) not to enter the party headquarters.
According to a police source, the order was necessitated by the need to ensure public order and safety in and around the secretariat.
However, the IGP will be meeting with the two camps of the party NWC at the Force Headquarters by 1pm to discuss the various court order made available to the party.
