Job Title: Technical Audit Officer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Job type: Full Time

Job Description

• The job focuses on protecting IBEDC against losses and inefficiencies by conducting audits on company’s existing and new power infrastructures to optimize return and reduce ATC & C.

Roles/Responsibilities

• Update checklist for monitoring of network and infrastructures.
• Regular network monitoring and review of power distribution infrastructures according to annual audit plan.
• Assists in defining, drafting, updating and reviewing internal audit policies and procedures as it pertains to technical parameters.
• Conduct timely inspection of inventory/completed technical projects.
• Review of Technical Safety Control Measures put in place in line with guiding standards and making recommendations for observed inefficiencies.
• Follow-up on the implementation of approved recommendations proposed in previous audit reports and measure impact on operations as it pertains to electrical engineering issues.
• Prepares periodic and ad-hoc reports to relevant stakeholders. Carry out other sundry assignments as directed by Lead Internal Audit & Inspection.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Electrical Engineering.
• A postgraduate degree in electrical engineering or other relevant discipline is an advantage
• Professional membership and certification in relevant fields including membership of NSE, NIPE, COREN.
• At least 7 years experience in Electrical Engineering.
