Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner

Location: Kaduna

Job Description

  • The role of HRBP in Flour Mills or any of its subsidiaries is to provide holistic support to a business unit, directly partnering with the Business Units Heads and providing expert advice on all HR issues whilst ensuring efficient implementation of change.
  • Be proactive and be quick in assessing the impact of activities on people in order to adequately mitigate ER/IR risks.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Drive business effectiveness through development and up to date maintenance of clear organization design, structure, and processes.
  • Enhance employee motivation, engagement and discipline through implementation of rewards, recognition and retention strategy.
  • Build adequate talent pipeline by identifying potential leaders and successors through talent initiatives and robust individual development plans.
  • Partner with HR centers of excellence to develop policies, programs and tools that fulfill long term business needs and organizational capability ensuring quality and timeliness of service.
  • Collaborate with Business Unit leaders to achieve people and organization strategy through the implementation of the workforce planning and talent management framework in the Business Unit.
  • External stakeholder engagement in promoting harmonious working relationships.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Candidates must possess a minimum of First Degree in any discipline
  • Member of any HR Professional Body such as CIPMN, CIPD, HRCI, SHRM.
  • She/he should have at least 5 years’ experience in human resources advisory capacity in an industrial factory setting.
  • Proficiency in the usage of Microsoft Office suites.
  • Experience in resolving employee or industrial relations issues.

Skills

  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Adhere to high confidentiality and personal integrity.
  • Have excellent organizational and Interpersonal skills.
  • Be persuasive, analytical and attentive to details.
  • Be fluent in Hausa language.

Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Supervisor

Location: Nigeria

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Oversee the planned and emergency maintenance of all mechanical equipment in the plant to verify the systems are functioning properly.
  • Generate checklist suitable for the plant.
  • Train subordinates to improve performance.
  • Delegate machine inspection assignments to Fitters, review their reports, and request permission.
  • Make sure housekeeping tasks are completed to create a clean and hygienic atmosphere.
  • Monitor subordinates’ adherence to safety procedures to prevent harm.
  • Ensure safety compliance by subordinates to prevent injury.
  • Provide materials needed for installation from stores.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Candidates must possess an OND in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 2 – 3 years cognate experience in a similar role is very essential for this position.

Skills

  • Have hands –on experience with mechanical maintenance.
  • Pay close attention to details.
  • Be able to multitask and have time-management skills.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills.

Job Title: Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Assistant

Location: Nigeria

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Provide general support and assistance to the Health and Safety Department.
  • Assist in Health and Safety audits, produce audit reports and follow up on actions generated for prompt resolutions.
  • Review and record checks on all fire exits, fire and fire equipment, and fire signs.
  • Review relevant safety signage within the facility.
  • Provide clerical support to the Health and Safety.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Ordinary National Diploma in related disciplines.
  • 5 O’ level credits including English & Mathematics in not more than 2 sittings.
  • Two (2) years cognate experience.

Skills

  • Be proactive.
  • Have good problem solving skills.
  • Have good communication skills.
