Location: Honolulu, Hawaii
This is a full-time job offer (meaning 40 hours of work per week) for two years with the possibility of an extension of your contract. As a scholarship support assistant, you will be required to work with the education program and help prepare the documents for students applying for different scholarships. Along with this, you will also be responsible for making sure that students applying for scholarships are following the state guidelines for their visa and tax-related documents.

To be eligible to apply for the job, all candidates must have a high school diploma along with at least four years of work experience in this field, or have a total of four years of related work experience and post-secondary education.
This job also requires the applicants to be proficient in the English language and possess the skills to easily work with basic applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and etc.

Open positions in EWC-Washington DC:
Location: Honolulu, District of Columbia
This is a full-time job that will require you to carry out general administrative and secretarial tasks for the vice president. As an executive assistant, you will be expected to arrange meetings, control the flow of information at the office, manage various financial matters and ensure that things run smoothly in the vice president’s absence.

The job position for a project coordinator is a full-time job offer. As a project coordinator, you will be required to initiate and publish projects that highlight various American-Asian matters.
Not only will you be required to carry out research from different areas for various projects, but you will also be responsible for the publication of these projects on the EWCW website, EWCW’s social media accounts, and various other platforms.

Only applicants who have a minimum of a master’s degree or equivalent in the field of social sciences are eligible to apply for this position. You must also have acquired the time-management, critical thinking, effective communication, team management, and strong problem-solving skills required for this job through past working experiences.

Open Positions in the Housing Department
Location: Honolulu, Hawaii
This is a full-time job position, which means working a total of 40 hours a week between the timings of 3:00 pm to 12:00 am each day. As a guest service agent, your duties will consist of processing the guest registrations, and room reservations, ensuring all dues have been paid by guests, and generating statistical revenue reports whenever necessary.
Since this is a customer service job, you must be able to communicate effectively with people and cater to their needs to ensure maximum customer satisfaction at all times. This job is a full-time job position, offered with a two years long contract. As an enterprise applications business analyst, you will be responsible for various donors and alumni operations. This includes creating and designing import/export data reports for stakeholders, processing donations, managing various software development projects, and communicating with alumni and donors.
To be eligible to apply for this job, you need a bachelor’s degree along with 5 years of work experience in the field of information systems. All applicants are also expected to be very familiar with writing SQL queries, relational database programming, and the use of various data visualization tools.

This is a full-time job offer that will require you to work 40 hours a week. As a constituent engagement director, your main job will be to build strong and beneficial relationships with donors, and alumni in the US and across the Indo-Pacific and the East-West Center.
The goal is to sustain their relationships beyond borders and to raise awareness as well as tremendous support for the East-West Center. This will be done through annual events and activities. The management of these events, along with the management of their finances and resources will be the responsibility of the constituent engagement director.
To be eligible for the job, you must have a bachelor’s degree in the related field, along with at least 10 years of work experience that has equipped you with the skills required for this job. The salary offered for this job is $107,317 per year, which comes with a cost-of-living allowance and a compensation package.

The position of a full-time fellow is offered by the research department in the East-West Center. The fellow is supposed to conduct a scholarly research study and get it published. The fellow will also be responsible for arranging funds for their studies, along with the management of any projects contributing to the study.
To be eligible to apply for the position, the candidates must have a Ph.D. in one of the following fields: political economy, political science, geography, and economics. The salary offered is $90,249 per year which comes along with a cost-of-living allowance and a compensation package.

Location: Honolulu Hawaii
The East-West Center is offering a full-time position as a project specialist for a period of two years (with the possibility of extension). The project specialist will work with the Pacific Regional Integrated Sciences and Assessments (RISA) program to improve climate early warning systems and fight against extreme weather conditions.
To be eligible to apply for this job, all applicants are required to have a master’s degree in either climate science, environmental science, environmental management, or program administration. Additionally, at least one year of experience is required in carrying out research projects and working in collaboration with others.
