South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) Special Covid-19 SRD Grant Payment Dates Update 2022 is out for this Month at South Africa Post Office. Beneficiaries have been instructed to use a supermarket or an ATM for May.
SASSA is an entity of the Department of Social Development Responsible for Administering Social Assistance in terms of Section 3 of the Social Assistance Act.

The Post Office said South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) beneficiaries who usually use the postal service for their transactions should use a supermarket or an ATM for May.

The state-owned entity said some of its branches won’t have enough money, adding that most Sassa grants for this month have been paid.
This included older persons’ grants, disability grants, and children’s grants.
According to Post Office, this arrangement applies to remaining beneficiaries who are yet to receive their R350 social relief of distress grant.
