Job Title: Videographer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Job type: Full Time
Level: Mid-level

Job Summary

  • Palmpay is looking for a Videographer for its marketing team. Your responsibilities include Operating video cameras and related equipment in the production and editing of video documentaries, educational television programs, or other video productions such as sporting events or scouting video.

Job Responsibilities

  • Undertake video editing, video artwork, post-production, videography and other work content.
  • Responsible for Palmpay’s social media video daily operation, assist in the completion of video branding standards; video production and update on the company’s website, brand promotional videos, etc.
  • Designs, transports, sets up, and operates production equipment, including audio and lighting equipment, for field and studio productions.
  • Responsible for the social media video editing and updating of our wallet APPs.
  • Regularly organize and classify video content.
  • Shooting of product video material (including external shooting).
  • Maintain video equipment daily.
  • Assisting in the writing of promotional video copy and scripts.
  • Annual video production plan submission, video production cost control.
  • Operates video cameras, on location or in the studio, in the production of professional pre-recorded programming.
  • Carry out computer edits of video segments on a variety of tape and digital formats.
  • Completes trouble shooting and preventive maintenance reports on video and audio production equipment; assists in upkeep of studio and production sets and properties.
  • Maintains equipment inventory and field and studio production schedules.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
  • Complete other work arranged by the department.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidates must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Film and Television production or Video Editing or related field from a reputable institution..
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

Competencies

  • Proficient in PR, VEGAS, Final Cut, ED and any other video editing software.
  • Proficient in video shooting, production, to assist the relevant departments of video shooting support.
  • Familiar with AE special effects software, planning, production and maintenance of video programmes/columns/channels/features/information.
  • Ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot audio and video equipment.
  • Ability to effectively manage time and schedules.
  • Records maintenance skills.
  • Ability to configure, operate and maintain studio and/or field audio, lighting and associated production equipment.
  • Knowledge of computerized tape editing applications and procedures.
  • Knowledge of professional audio and/or video tape editing and post-production procedures, techniques, and standards.

Job Title: Business Partner

  • We are looking for Business Partners that will have the core responsibility of acquiring Merchants, Agents and Users.
  • As a Business Partner, you will focus mainly on building long-term relationships with our Merchants and Users.

Job Responsibilities

  • Acquiring strategic, high-profile merchants, agents, and users.
  • Building and maintaining successful long-term relationships with these strategic merchants, agents, and users.
  • Planning and overseeing new initiatives on Winning and Managing merchants, agents, and users.
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge and help build Palmpay’s presence by establishing personal networks and utilizing existing networks and relationships to build a new merchant base.
  • Conducting research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Gathering useful information from customer and competitor data
  • Researching about potential leads in our target vertical and follow up with those leads via phone, and in-person meetings to bring them into our merchant list.
  • Holding presentations and demonstrations for potential clients.
  • Communicating with and informing existing clients in a way that supports an ongoing relationship.
  • Working with other teams and colleagues to help align offerings with the needs of clients.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year relevant experience in Merchant, Agent, User acquisition.
  • Candidates must have a minimum of an OND in Business Administration, Marketing or any other relevant field of study.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good business knowledge.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Supervisory ability skills.

Salary

Basic N50,000 + 30,000 KPI Bonus

Job Title: Research Specialist

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Description

  • We’re looking for an experienced Research Specialist who is passionate about our mission of driving financial inclusion in Africa and inquisitive about the Fintech space in Nigeria and the rest of the world

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage the Pan-Africa Market Research team
  • Work on Market/Product/Customer Research, including communication of requirements.
  • Design survey, collection of Data and Information, complete the report etc
  • Carry out business analysis, data modelling, and logical and physical database design, and database optimization for the company
  • Utilize standard reporting technologies to create, manage, and maintain reports
  • Have professional suggestion based on the investigation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Technology, Analytics, or Research field, or in any other related area.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in Consulting/Market Research/ Data Analysis.
  • Experience with the MMO Industry is preferred
  • Should be willing to travel across Africa.
  • Ability to manage large data sets.
  • Report Writing Skills.
  • Candidate should be fluent in French language

Job Title: HR Recruiter
