We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Broadcast Engineer

Location: Kaduna

Job Description

Responsible for installation and maintenance of the station’s broadcast equipment, electrical and mechanical installations.
The Engineer is also responsible for masts, fibre optic cables, satellite dishes, microwaves, cooling systems as well as buildings, furniture and the work environment. These are in addition to other assignments given to him/her by superiors.

Job Requirement
Qualification/Eligibility:

Candidate must have at least a degree in relevant engineering field
Should be thoroughly proficient in computer.
Candidate applying for Engineering must have membership or evidence of
registration with COREN or NSE

Job Title: Marketing / Commercial Officer

Location: Kaduna

Job Description

The marketing officer is primarily responsible for generating revenue for the station through planning and shaping of programmes to attract patronage, meeting his/her assigned annual target, Sales of airtime and collaboration with marketing agencies.
He / she will be responsible for liaising with agencies, raising of credit notes, preparation of daily schedule of commercials, monitoring of aired commercials and organization of game shows and other event / programmes that will generate revenue for the Corporation.

Job Requirements
Qualifications / Eligibility:

Must have at least a degree from a recognized University in relevant field.
Should be thoroughly proficient in computer and be willing to learn and edit video / audio.
Experience in marketing and APCON membership / fellowship will be added advantage.

Job Title: Producer / Presenter

Location: Kaduna

Job Description

A producer is the brain box of a media outfit. He/she is responsible for initiating ideas for programme, identifying the ingredients of the programme and developing or translating these ideas into programmes using script, audio and video.
A broadcast presenter is the shop-window of the station. He/She is responsible for the smooth and professional delivery of programme, narration scripts or news in satisfactory way.
The presenter must be articulate with good quality voice that can arrest and keep the viewer or listener glued to the programme

Job Requirements
Qualification / Eligibility

Must have at least a degree or equivalent from a recognized University or Institution in relevant field.
Should be thoroughly proficient in computer.
Evidence of experience in production is added advantage.

Job Title: Video / Graphics Editor

Location: Kaduna

Job Description

The video / graphics editor edits all videos / rushes alone or working with a producer / reporter to ensure quality and meaningful production output.
The video / graphics editor is also responsible for proper balancing of audio and video, exporting and archiving the final output. On graphics, the video / graphics editor is responsible for screen design, virtual set design, news scroll bar, end credits, calligraphy, engravings, printing, chest captions and sign writing.

Qualification / Eligibility:

Must have at least a degree or diploma from a recognized University in relevant field.
Should be thoroughly proficient in computer.
Must have ability to edit and create graphics using at least one of the best-known editing software.

Job Title: Vision Mixer

Job Description

Assists the programme director in live transmission and / or recorded of programmes.
The vision mixer assists the director in selecting and mixing video from different cameras in the studio or outside broadcast, to give a coherent output to the viewer.

Job Title: ICT / Online Editor

Location: Kaduna

Job Description

This ICT specialist is responsible for Installation and maintenance of the station’s computer systems and software.
He / she will be responsible for the networking of several computers and their optimal function in a broadcast outfit.
The editor is also responsible for ingest and retrieval of radio/TV materials into/from the computer system/network.
He / she is also responsible for the stations social media platforms as well as the distribution and consumption of data.
These are in addition to other assignments given to him/her by superiors.

Job Title: News and Current Affairs Editor

Location: Kaduna

Job Description

News Editor is responsible for the gathering, editing and airing of news bulletins (audio, video and text) on radio and television.
He / she is expected to lead a team of journalists and broadcast professionals to accomplish news and current affairs related tasks within a given deadline.
Where necessary he / she will be assigned alone or in team to produce a news programme, special report or documentary.

Job Title: Cameraman

Job Description

Operates camera for ENG, recordings in the studios and Outside Broadcast. Cameramen are responsible for proper care, maintenance and safety of cameras and other accessories in their care. In addition, cameramen must learn and be proficient in video editing.

Job Title: Librarian

Location: Kaduna

Job Description

The Librarian is responsible for all the activities in the music and reference libraries. He/she is also responsible for preview, scheduling / generating playlist on daily programmes and music and uploading them for airing on the radio and TV.
The assignment of the Librarian also includes: archiving and retrieval of old and aired programmes, preserving the copywrite of the station, cataloging of all library materials and any other duties relevant to the station.
