That is the main reason why we have come up with this article to instruct you on things you need to know before you commence your online registration and form, secret on how to choose NYSC mobilization state, best NYSC states, top NYSC allawee/stipends paying states, requirements for the camping.

It’s no longer new news that the new policy of the NYSC which began from the 2016 Batch A set. The policy allows every corps member to select four (4) States of their choices to serve which the selection is at random from the six zones of NYSC listed below.
You will be asked to choose a state of your choice; this must be a state outside your geopolitical zone. For instance, If a corps members state falls under south-south , it simply means that you can’t serve in south-south. Prepare Your Mind:
First, you need to know that you are leaving your house to an unknown place or a known place, associate with different kind, tribe, religion, lifestyle, character etc of people so prepare your mind for that. Camp is not your father’s house or your village where you can behave any how please behave yourself to avoid trouble or problem of any kind. In the camp, you will confront stress of different type so as to prepare you for any challenge that may confront you outside the camp. You will not find it too comfortable. MAKE THE RIGHT FRIEND(S) AND HELP EACH OTHER WHO KNOWS TOMORROW.

Arrive at the camp Early:
Ensure you arrive at the camp early. If you are posted to a far state, go the day before the camp opens, you will be allow into the camp. Late arrival will make you go through registration stress. It’s an advice
Screening:
The screening starts at the entrance of the camp (gate). Your loads are open and properly search. Please don’t go with items like iron, knives, fork, explosive, etc.
Registration:
Registration begins with assigning of hostel/bed space; here you will be given tags to identify with. Then the paper registrations proper follow. Try as much as possible to make everything available. Look out for information pasted on notice board or walls and adhere to all the instructions given.
Camp Kits:
You will get all your camp kits like shirts, shorts and shoes. Ensure you use a marker to write your name and Code Number (CN) on them ‘immediately” You will also be given a tag that will show your Code Number. That will be your temporary ID card. Ensure you carry it everywhere you go (MTN) in camp. Also a meal ticket will be given to you. Misplace it and forget about NYSC food.
Duration:
The camp will last for 20 days. The 21st day, you leave the camp.
