The governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has thanked the President Muhammadu Buhari for approving the 78.9 billion Naira as the replacement for the amount the Governor spent on carrying out some federal road projects in Rivers state.
The Governor also used the opportunity to invite president Buhari for a state visit
This approval for the refund was granted at the virtual Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting presided over by Buhari on June 3.
As seen in some national newspapers, the Rivers State Governor thanked the president for approving the refund, saying the gesture has shown Buhari’s love for the people of the state and as a president for all.
