Sport News: Man United Coach has Challenged Pogba to Bring Leadership to the Team

Paul Pogba has previously announced over the summer publicly that is open to leaving the club due to several issues and criticism during the season at Old Trafford.

Due to series of injuries, Paul Pogba has made just eight appearances in all competitions for Man United this and his last appearance was against Newcastle whom they trashed 4-1 on Boxing Day.

Pogba picked up an ankle injury and has been sidelined for a long while but due to the coronavirus break, he has returned to his full fitness and he is ready to return to premier league action.

The 27-year-old could return to action Premier League action as it resumes after the coronavirus break at Tottenham tonight, where Pogba would his face old manager, and adversary, Jose Mourinho.

Pogba may not be a starter against Tottenham, but will be introduced into the action at some point of the game.

Manchester United Head Coach, Ole Gunner Solksjaer was asked if he was confident of seeing the best of Pogba for a consistent period, and he replied that he hoped and believe to see the best out of the French international.

“Of course Paul has had his difficult season this year with loads of injuries, but I can see his mentality and focus now that he is fit and training and available, that he is ready to play again and to prove… he has always had quality, Paul.

“He is one of the best midfielders in the world so hopefully we can get that going as soon as possible.”

“Paul is one of the best midfielders in the world, so of course we expect him to gradually improve as he gets more and more game time.

“I don’t know if it’s 45 minutes this time, is it 60, is it… so gradually over these next few months we can work him up back to his best.

“Paul has had a very, very good career. Of course he is a World Cup winner and we want to have that leadership on the pitch as well.”
