Over the past few years, a tree called moringa (Moringa oleifera) has drawn major attention as a nutrient-packed superfood.

Native to India, Pakistan, and Nepal, the moringa tree produces leaves and seeds rich in antioxidants, amino acids, vitamins, and minerals.

Frequently referred to as a “miracle tree,” moringa has become popular as a natural leaf powder supplement and It is used as a traditional remedy for many ailments.

According to research, the health benefits of moringa are too numerous to count but here are a few of them.

1. It is packed with lots of nutrients

Moringa is a rich source of vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. It contains vitamin A, C, and E. Also included in its nutrient content are calcium, potassium, and protein.

Moringa contains high concentrations of polyphenols in its leaves and flowers that protect the liver against oxidation, toxicity, and damage.

Moringa can reduce liver damage and fibrosis and reverse oxidation in the liver. Moringa oil can also restore liver enzymes to normal levels, reducing oxidative stress, and increasing protein content in the liver.

3. It fights inflammation

One dreadful thing about inflammation is that it can lead to chronic diseases like diabetes, respiratory problems, cardiovascular disease, arthritis, and obesity.

Moringa reduces inflammation by suppressing inflammatory enzymes and proteins in the body, and moringa leaf concentrate can significantly lower inflammation in the cells.

Moringa leaves, when blended to powder, are excellent for making tea. It is also available in capsule form which can be taken as prescribed.
