It has reported that with Adams Oshiomhole temporarily out of the picture, there are ongoing moves to bring Governor Godwin Obaseki back to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Some sources in the Progressives Governor’s Forum told Daily Trust on Thursday, June 18, that there were serious moves to get Governor Godwin Obaseki back into the APC’s camp.
One of the sources revealed that since Oshiomhole is now on suspension, the activities of some powerful persons in the ruling party are being scrutinised and checkmated.

Governors would have their way because they are with the people at the grassroots. “They would not allow the interest of few individuals to hold Nigeria to ransom.” Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Oshiomhole had commented on the verdict of the Court of Appeal which upheld his suspension. Oshiomhole on Wednesday, June 17, said he has accepted the verdict.
