The midfielder has issued a message to his followers on social media after footage of him receiving prayer of healing appeared
Angel Gomes has responded to a video circulating on social media which shows the Manchester United teenager visiting a prophet in Nigeria in an attempt to heal his injury woes.
Gomes started playing for Manchester United when he was six as he was selected for the club’s academy training. He spent eleven years at the academy before graduating to the first team in 2017.
Since then he has made ten appaerances for the Red Devils, and is currently about to sign a contract extension to remain at Old Trafford beyond the summer.
Just before his breakthrough a 2 minutes tape of the English playmaker appeared on social media serving as a total evidence of his struggles with fitness.
While Gomes attended T.B. Joshua’s Synagogue Church of All Nations in Nigeria he was seen opening up on his injury problems.
Although advised by his parents, the teenager explained why he sought out the prophet as he stated in the video: “My name is Angel Gomes, I’m from Manchester. I’m sixteen.
