Bayern Munich leading the race to sign Bayer Leverkusen star Kai Havertz.
Havertz is expected to leave Bayer Leverkusen at the end of this season after an amazing season in which he has scored 15 goals and recorded eight assists.
Bayern are hoping to form a partnership between Kai Havertz and Manchester City striker Leroy Sane, who is still yet to sign a new contract with Man City.
Bayern Munich are leading the transfer race for Bayer Leverkusen’s wonder kid Kai Havertz
A host of Big clubs in Europe including Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea are interested in the Leverkusen Star.
Since football returned to the Bundesliga, Havertz has been in a wonderful form netting five goals for Leverkusen in six games.
Bayern have also been interested in Manchester City striker Leroy Sane for a long time now. Bayern have also been linked to Leroy Sane for the past 1 year and have made him their top target in this transfer window.
The Leroy Sane has one year left in his city contract and has not signed a new contract over the past few months in order to prolong his stay at the club.
This suggest that Leroy Sane does not want to remain at the club and Bayern are the top front to hijack the forward.
Bayern have not been able to made any progress with his signing as Man City values him at £130million last summer and Bayern has not made any bid close to that one.
Due to series of injuries, Sane did not feature in most of City’s match for this season, this made his market value drop to £50m.
However, City has recently rejected the £35m Bayern Bid earlier when the spiked their interest in him recently.
The combination of both Havertz and Sane would strengthen a team who are already pushing for Champions League football this season.
