NDDC 2019 Scholarship Programme for Postgraduate Students – This is to inform the general public that NDDC is hosting a postgraduate foreign scholarship programme to help Niger Delta citizens’ acquire relevant training and skills that will help them participate and develop their society and the world at large.

Eligible Courses for NDDC Scholarship Programme 2019

The Scheme is for suitably qualified applicants with relevant Bachelor’s/Master’s Degrees from recognized Universities in the following professional disciplines:

1. Engineering
2. Agricultural Science
3. Law
4. Medical Sciences
5. Geosciences
6. Environmental Sciences
7. Management sciences
8. ICT
9. Education
10. Humanities

Requirements And Qualifications

Qualifications
Applicants must possess the following to be qualified for the scholarship:

• First degree with minimum of 2nd Class, Lower Division for those wishing to undertake a Master’s Degree programme and a good Master’s Degree for PhD candidates from a recognized University.
• Interested Applicants must have gained valid admission letter for a Post Graduate Programme in any of the listed disciplines above, in a foreign University.
• Applicants who have already enrolled in overseas’ universities are NOT eligible to apply.
• Applicants must have completed the mandatory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

Requirements

1. Recent passport photograph
2. Local Government identification letter
3. Post Graduate admission letter from a recognized Overseas University
4. Relevant Degrees from recognized Universities
5. NYSC Discharge /Exemption Certificate
6. Guarantor’s written consent of good conduct of the applicant from any of the following persons from the applicant’s community/clan.

• Member of National Assembly/State House of Assembly
• Chairman of LGA
• First class traditional ruler
• High court judge

How To Apply

1. Successfully completed application form will be assigned a registration number automatically.
2. Print the hard copy of the on-line generated acknowledgement for ease reference

Closing Date for NDDC Scholarship Programme 2019

Interested and Qualified Applicants must complete and submit their applications on or before the 4^th of July, 2019.
NOTE:

• CBT Tests and Oral Interviews will be given to Only Shortlisted Candidates
• Candidates from oil producing/bearing communities/Local Government areas would be given preference advantage as long as candidates meet the approved cut off mark.
• The Commission will ensure a fair spread of course among beneficiaries within each State.
• Applicants who did Deferment, change of institution and course are not permitted.
• The Commission reserves the sole and absolute discretion to select in line with the above stated criteria its internal consideration. The decision of the Commission in this regard is final.
