BVN Enrollment and Guideline

Know how to register your BVN it is as easy as your 1, 2, 3, With the increasing incidents of compromise on conventional security systems (Password and PIN), there is a high demand for greater security for access to sensitive or personal information in the Banking System.
See the following steps how to enroll or register for your BVN

Launched February 2014, the BVN gives each customer a unique identity that can be identified and verified across the Nigerian Banking Industry (not peculiar to one Bank). The BVN will also address issues of theft, reducing the level of fraud in Nigerian Banks.
THE FOLLOWING ARE REQUIREMENTS FOR ENROLMENT
You will are to present the following –
BVN Enrolment form which can be downloaded from here or at our center.
Appointment is MANDATORY before visiting the enrollment center. Please schedule your appointment by visiting the Book your Appointment link on the website.
Valid ID: ( Please carry any of the following)
–              International Passport
–              National ID card
–              Driver’s license
–              Any other valid means of identification
–              One recent passport photograph
–              Enrollment fee. See details under application service fees

This enrollment process is done just once and your BVN is linked to all your Bank Accounts across all the Nigerian Banks.
The BVN solution is an initiative of the Central Bank of Nigeria to ensure accountability, protect Bank Customers’ Account from unauthorized access, reduce exposure to fraud, check identity theft, enhance credit advancement to Bank Customers, and also to encourage Financial Inclusion.
Note:
The bank shall not be liable for breaches that may occur if it is compelled by law or regulation to disclose customer biometrics data to third parties. However, the Bank shall exercise due care to ensure that the customers biometrics data is secure and protected.
