The University of Lagos Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UTME, aptitude test for potential students for the 2017/2018 academic session would take place from September 18 to September 22, 2017.
According to the school’s Deputy Registrar, Information, Toyin Adebule, the online registration for the Post-UTME screening exercise for the new academic session would take place from August 31 to September 15, 2017.
Having listed the requirements for gaining admission into the university, Toyin said that only candidates who picked UNILAG as their first choice in the 2017/2018 UTME exam and scored 200 and above would be qualified for the screening exercise.
He also said that candidates must attain a minimum of five credit passes at one sitting in significant O/level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
“Candidates who will not be 16 years of age by October 31 are not eligible and need not apply. Those who do not partake in this Post-UTME screening will not be considered for admission.” the statement read.
“The screening fee has been pinned at two thousand naira only (N2,000) and candidates should follow the registration process carefully. Qualified candidates should log on to University of Lagos website www.unilag.edu.ng and then take the following steps.
“They should click on admission, then click on Post-UTME application, and login with their UTME number as their username and surname in lowercase as password”.
Mr. Adebule said this would create a print payment guidance which they would take to any commercial bank to make payment or pay online.
He said that the potential candidates are to go back to the university’s portal to upload their passport photographs and finish the application forms. They are also required to print the Post-UTME examination pass for the aptitude test scheduled to begin from September 18 to September 22.
He advise candidates to obey the instructions thoroughly and not to waver to get clarifications where necessary.
